Getting to your accommodation

From Malta International Airport:

Reaching your accommodation is very straightforward as we are located on the route of the main bus line X3.

  1. Walk to Airport 2 bus terminal (approximately 2 minutes from airport arrivals gate).
  2. Catch bus line X3. This line operates every hour between 0530 and 2230, and takes you directly to our location in Birkirkara. Travelling time is approximately 35 minutes (16 stops).
  3. Stop at Alwigi bus stop in Valley Road Birkirkara. The bus will continue to Bugibba, but you must stop at Alwigi in Birkirkara.
  4. Your accommodation is just a few steps from the bus stop.

You can take other bus lines to your tinyMalta accommodation. But these require a transfer. Visit the Public Transport website here for detailed information about these other bus routes.
Alternatively you can take a taxi from the Airport Arrivals Hall. There is an official taxi booth at the far left corner as you exit the Airport Customs Hall. The taxi charge is approximately €25.

From Virtu Ferries Terminal:

There is a 20 minute walk to the bus stop Floriani C, and it is best to ask for directions or use your GPS.

  1. Exit the Virtu Ferries Terminal and turn to your right. This is a pleasant walk through the Valletta Waterfront and the Cruise Liner Port overlooking the Grand Harbour.
  2. When you reach Kurcifiss, turn to your left and start climbing the road It-Telgha tal-Kurcifiss, and from there to Triq Sant’ Anna. You should not cross this busy street.
  3. Look for bus stop Floriana C on Triq Sant’ Anna.
  4. Catch Bus line 54. This line operates every 30 minutes between 0535 and 2205. The bus takes you directly to your accommodation in Birkirkara. Travelling time by bus is approximately 15 minutes (13 stops).
  5. Stop at Alwigi bus stop in Valley Road Birkirkara. The bus heads on to Attard, but you must stop at Alwigi in Birkirkara. We are just a few steps from the bus stop.
